Bath centre Max Ojomoh has signed a new three-year deal with Bath to keep him at the club until the summer of 2027.

The 23-year-old, whose contract was due to expire at the end of this campaign, has come through Bath’s academy and made 57 appearances for the club.

Ojomoh, whose father Steve played for Bath during the 1990s, was called up by England for a training camp this week before the Six Nations.

He follows Will Stuart and Will Muir in agreeing new terms with Bath.

“If you look at the progression as a squad over the last three or four years, I think if we keep trending in that direction we will inevitably end up competing and winning things, that’s something I want to be a part of,” Ojomoh said.

“Then personally, the next step would be international honours. I get an opportunity here at Bath to compete against two international centres [Ollie Lawrence and Cameron Redpath].

“If I’m pushing them to be in the team it means I’m pushing to get international honours myself.”

Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan added: “I see some real brilliance in Max, on his defensive side and his attacking side, and I also see a player that’s worked incredibly hard on his game.”
