Coachella Valley Firebirds take on San Diego Gulls in fourth sellout of the season

The Coachella Valley Firebirds take on the San Diego Gulls tonight at Acrisure Arena. They’ll be cheered on by a sold-out arena of more than 10,000 fans. Firebirds officials confirm to News Channel 3 that the game is sold out, making it the team’s fourth sellout of the season. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m.

What to know if you go:

  • Parking for tonight’s game is extremely limited in all parking lots at the arena. Overflow parking will be available at Xavier High School with shuttles provided to and from Acrisure Arena beginning at 5 p.m
  • Pre-game Plaza and Patio events start at 5:30 p.m.
  • Doors open at 6 p.m.
  • Puck Drop at 7 p.m. with Assemblymember Greg Wallis
  • Season of Giving Raffle Drawing with FIND Food Bank CEO Debbie Espinosa

This is the first game since the Christmas holiday for the team. They shared some holiday cheer on social media.

The Firebirds home struggles continue as the Bakersfield Condors edged Coachella Valley, 2-1, in OT on Saturday night. Cameron Hughes scored the Firebirds’ lone goal on Teddy Bear Toss night in front of a sold-out crowd of 10,087 fans.
